In 2013 all my friends and I played football. We made it to the Super Bowl. For the third play in the game, Colton leaps in the end zone! Six points for White Oak and Gilmer had zip. We beat Gilmer 21-0! It was a great game.

                            Dallas

When we left White Oak to go to Dallas, I was so excited! We got on the road to Dallas. It took so long…two hours to get there, but it felt shorter because I fell asleep. When we got there, there were HUGE buildings everywhere! When we got to the rent house, that was big too. Upstairs there were two flat screen tv’s. The next day we went to Six Flags. I went on the Judge Roy Scream. That was scary because all of it is made out of wood. After all the rides, we went home to sleep. The next day we went to Legoland, that took us 30 minutes to get there. When we got there we went straight to the race tracks. That’s where you build your own car and race it down a track. When we got back to the house we packed up an slept, then went back home.

                            Fishing

When I went fishing at Pinick Park pond, there where little minnows swimming by the boarder. I got my rod and bait on and flung the string as far as I could. Then I waited and waited till finally a pull. I reeled it in so fast. When it was out of the water it was a big catfish! Then my brother tried. He flung his out in the water and finally he got a tug. Then when it was out of the water it was a trout. When we got back home, we cooked both of them and had a great dinner.

Jamestown a small town were people sailed  on a ship called the MayFlower.When they got there the first thing they looked for was gold.They fished but the fisherman died from desise but then  many people died from thirst and hunger.

 

                                                      Henry Hudson                                                                                      Henry Hudson a great explorer that sailed down the eastern coast of America where New York is today. Then Hudson found a harbor and a river that flowed into it. Hudson also sailed off to the a the northern Canada in a ship called the Discovery. Then he was sure he had found the Northwest passageway , later called Hudson bay. When winter set in, the bay froze over. The Discovery froze in the ice.Hudson tried to get out but it diden’t move.Hudson and his crew had a hard long winter in a log hut.Then seven of his crew men left in a small boat with no oars.Then Hudson and his crew were never heard of again.
